Wasabi Pickled Beans

These are not your standard pickled green beans.  These are wasabi pickled green beans.  Crisp, crunchy, and incredibly tasty, these are everything we love in a pickle and then some. Mild, clean, white heat alongside zesty ginger and pungent garlic characterizes the flavour profile of this gourmet product.  It’s a great way to add an element of whimsy to your condiment shelf, not to mention a sophisticated touch to your platters.

In addition to tasting incredible, wasabi is known for its many health properties, such as vitamins C, B1 and B6, and minerals such as calcium and magnesium.  Pickle this in a jar with ginger and garlic, and you’ve found yourself one very healthful bean! 

Options, options!

Try them in a Niçoise salad, on a charcuterie board, in a caesar, straight from the jar, or our personal favourite - garnishing some spicy miso pasta. We go heavy on the pancetta and oyster mushrooms for this dish, but who’s looking?  In short, we LOVE this new addition to our lineup.

We are confirmed crunch addicts, and you can’t get that without the freshest possible ingredients.

The Spicy B@tches:  Wasabeans come in 500 mL jars, and can be purchased online here. They can be delivered for free if you are in one of our two local catchment areas.  How great is that?
